Cala Granadella
Kayaking & Snorkeling Experience
"Current legislation establishes a usage restriction from March 1st to June 30th due to the presence of protected wildlife species in their nesting season. This includes the European shag (Gulosus aristotelis) cormorán moñudo, which is classified as a vulnerable species.
Consequently, all kayaking activities in Cala de la Granadella, Xàbia, are suspended. This measure follows a formal requirement issued by the Provincial Coastal Service of Alicante to the Xàbia Town Council, aimed at protecting bird nesting sites."
We start the kayak excursion from es Cala Granadella beach, with an explanation of the route and a paddling class.
The area offers us a variety of landscapes that represent the geology of the area, cliffs and crystal clear waters.
We will visit the the Cave "Cova del Llop Mari" and the idilic Cala Calo only accessible by sea. We pass through Isla del Descubridor until we reach Cala Ambolo. In Cala Calo and cala Ambolo, we take the opportunity to rest and discover the underwater treasures by snorkeling. Rested and fresh, we will kayak to return to Cala Granadella.
This kayak tour is appropriate for all levels, you just need to be fit and know how to swim.
